A Tradition of Excellence That Began More Than a Century Ago

Blanden Dentistry is a product of one man's passion to care for others. Dr. Blanden comes from a family of distinguished healthcare providers. His great-grandfather was a dentist in the 1800s, and his father was a physician. Also, Dr. Blanden's mother practiced healthcare as a registered nurse. Growing up in this environment has instilled in Dr. Blanden a strong desire to care for others, and he's carried that throughout his dental practice.

As soon as you walk into his office, you'll immediately be made to feel at home by a dental care team that's been together for more than ten years. Even the office itself is representative of the tradition that backs this practice. Dr. Blanden's father practiced out of this very office.

Dr. Blanden has been practicing dentistry since 1971, and his passion for keeping up with advances in the field is as strong as it was 35 years ago. In fact, he is one of the few dentists in the area who has earned the distinction of becoming a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantology and is qualified to treat all aspects of implants right in the office. He has also earned special credentials from the National Capital Center for Craniofacial Pain, which distinctly qualifies him to treat TMJ dysfunction.
